Refresh Rockville is a community of designers and developers working to refresh the creative, technical, and professional culture of New Media endeavors in Rockville, Maryland and the surrounding area. Promoting design, technology, usability, and standards. We have a special relationship with Montgomery College, who hosts the event, which gives us a regular meeting place and connection with upcoming design and developing professionals.

Friendly get-togethers to play music, sing, drum, and learn.  Musicians, singers, professionals, amateurs, beginners, all musical levels and all kinds of instruments welcome. We have informal/casual gatherings where you can enjoy playing music and singing with other members, can meet friendly people, and get inspired by others.  Every meeting is a different combination! All musical levels, including beginners, are welcome, so long as you enjoy it!  Bring extra instruments if you have them.

The purpose of the group is for Ashburn writers to be able to gather and receive constructive criticism of their writing. I would prefer any new members to be mature adults; this is not to dissuade teens from writing, but rather to encourage them to form or join writing groups aimed at their demographic.
