MEET-UP Revision Everyone--------

The group has met at St. Nick's Jazz "joint" on Wednesdays the past few times. Members have told me that the middle of the week is a difficult time for them to meet/hang-out. And that a club with loud music makes it difficult to converse when you're meeting people for maybe the first time. All this was "shouted out" to me over the music more than a few times...lol. I can take a hint.....:)

So I'd like to arrange future gatherings by starting out at someplace quiet with good food and drink, on Fridays, or Saturdays. Then whoever wants to make a night of it can head off with us to see some music or hit a lounge or other interesting thing to do.. The good news is that some cool places are opening up uptown, and are busy and staying open!

One of the best places I've found lately is Cafe Largo. At 137th St. and Broadway. The plan is to meet there next. Please see links to reviews and directions below.

interested right now in finding an affordable workshop/studio in Harlem or the Bronx, preferably with other creative folks. I work @ my home and my contact with a living soul during day time is limited to an old labrador.
